*BILLABLE ITEMS
The pricing above reflects the previous year’s program cost and is only an ESTIMATE until the final costs are posted. Although not anticipated, program costs may change due to fluctuation in currency exchange rates, tuition increases, contracted agencies, among other things. Billable Items, (noted with an *) are often paid directly to Drake University through your Drake University student account, although with the University of the Sunshine Coast, the housing fee may be billed directly to the student. Please note that the billable cost does NOT include any additional expenses associated with your program, which are also your responsibility.

ESTIMATED HOST UNIVERSITY HOUSING
All students are responsible for reserving housing at their host institution. The cost estimate above reflects sponsored "student accommodation" housing, and not the homestay option. Costs may vary if a different source of housing is chosen. Contact your Education Abroad Advisor for more information.

ESTIMATED ADDITIONAL COSTS
Estimated additional costs are NOT billed to your Drake University student tuition account and include costs such as, airfare, airport tax, housing, meals, books and supplies, passport, visa, immunizations, medical visit, personal expenses, emergency funds or the cost of any independent travel. Costs can be affected by individual budgetary habits and currency fluctuations. The responsibility lies on the student to budget accordingly and responsibly.

FINANCIAL AID & SCHOLARSHIPS
Students are able to apply their regular Financial Aid and scholarships on an exchange program similarly to how they would apply at Drake. Students should meet with a Financial Aid Advisor to confirm this. Any Financial Aid and scholarships will be applied to your Drake student account according to the regular disbursement schedules.

Note that the Faculty/Staff Tuition Discount for main campus courses cannot be applied to study abroad.
